So, how much detail can you get from a negative? We aren't going to divulge our scanning secrets, but there are ways of getting sharp and detailed scans from colour negative without the grain becoming too obtrusive.
This is a 250MB RGB scan from a 6x7 negative. The scan wasn't made on our drum scanners it was made on our Scanview F10 flatbed scanner. The first shot is a crop at 100% so that you can see how much detail has been harvested from a tiny area of the negative.
